Palm Harbor’s homebound library service brings books to eligible residents
Residents unable to reach the library because of illness or disability can ask about free monthly delivery within the Palm Harbor Fire District.

Palm Harbor residents who cannot visit the library because of temporary or long-term illness or disability can ask about its free homebound delivery service. Eligibility is tied to residence within the Palm Harbor Fire District and having, or qualifying for, a library card.
The program permits one delivery and pickup each month, with up to 25 eligible items per delivery. Choices include regular-print and large-print books, paperbacks, books on CD and puzzles owned by Palm Harbor Library.
A Home Delivery Coordinator reviews eligibility and reading preferences. Specific titles and authors can be requested, subject to availability. To begin, call 727-784-3332 and choose the Reference Department option. The library’s service page explains the application process and the district boundaries, which are worth checking before applying.
