Palm Harbor Library offers free one-to-one English and literacy tutoring
Adults can contact the library’s Literacy Office for help with reading, writing and spoken English, or apply to become a tutor.

Adults seeking help with English or reading can receive free individual tutoring through the Literacy Council of Palm Harbor Library. The service supports people reading below an eighth-grade level and adults learning English as a second or third language.
To ask about becoming a student, call the Literacy Office at 727-373-7034 and leave a voicemail. The library’s information desk can also explain the program. Sessions focus on improving reading, writing and spoken English through one-to-one work.
The council also welcomes volunteer tutors through the library’s adult volunteer application. Training, guidance and teaching resources are provided, and volunteers who complete training are matched with an adult student. The library is at 2330 Nebraska Avenue; the linked tutoring page includes the application and contact information.
